Kaylin

Hello, my name is Kaylin Hilbers (Vice President). Before joining FCCLA, I never realized how much one organization could influence my confidence, leadership skills, and outlook on the future. FCCLA is more than just a high school club– it is an organization that helps students grow both personally and professionally. Through my experience in FCCLA, I have learned valuable life skills, stepped outside of my comfort zone, and discovered strengths I did not know I had. Because of these experiences, FCCLA has played an important role in changing my life.

FCCLA, which stands for Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America, is a national student organization that helps young people develop leadership skills and prepare for life beyond high school. I decided to join FCCLA because I wanted to become more involved in school and learn skills that would help me in my future. At first, I did not fully understand how much FCCLA would offer, but as I became more involved, I realized it was more than just a club. FCCLA encourages responsibility, teamwork, and leadership skills, which helped me grow both personally and academically.

I have been able to receive and accomplish multiple awards and certificates within this organization. These accomplishments include, Officer (Vice President 2 years in a row)Induction Certificate, State 2nd Place Winner (Star Events), and Leadership award from one of my Chapter Advisors.
