FCCLA at Appomattox

FCS

Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS), along with FCCLA, gives students the skills they need for real life and real careers. Through hands-on projects, leadership opportunities, and competitive events, students learn how to manage finances, build healthy relationships, explore career paths, and make a difference in their communities. FCCLA allows students to take what they learn in the classroom and apply it through teamwork, service, and leadership, helping them grow into confident, responsible, and career-ready individuals.

The POW helps chapters plan purposeful activities that promote Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS)and develop leadership skills.
